This page is updated every 15 minutes from recent data collected by a WM918 weather station

The data is logged at two minute intervals, but there is data recorded every minute. Best viewed in 800 x 600 and True colour. On the graph, the Blue line represents the average windspeed, the Red line is the maximum gust for that interval, and the Green line is what the wind has dropped off to in the same interval. Fuschsa is the barometer & dew point,Blue is humidity.

Wind direction indicator on graph, Red Arrow is current direction, Yellow Line is average direction.

Use the REFRESH or RELOAD facility on your browser to retrieve the latest data.
This station uses NZ Meteorological Standards, a "day" is from 9am to 9am of the following day. So if you want to see the overnight low temp after 9am you will need to look in yesterday's extreme conditions. For the same reason the daily report for the current month is not available until 9:15am on the following day.

When the wind blows from an Easterly direction, it may be indicated as coming from the West or Norwest, because this stations location is sheltered by a hill from the East and receives instead a wind from the opposite direction.

Status report: Still awaiting parts to fix Solar Sensor and Lightning Detector.
